After Christmas we decided to spend New Years on the road. And what better place than the home of Half Dome, Yosemite National Park!
The park holds the most beautiful geologic structures. El Capitan and Sentinel Rock are huge granite cliff faces that climbers frequent.
Valleys created by rivers are "V" in nature, but this valley is unique because it was shaped by a glacier, giving it a "U" shape. This made it perfect for waterfalls, and landscapes that were breathtaking. I hope everyone has the opportunity to see this amazing valley!
